These are high waisted and do have a bit of a gap at the low back. They are designed for women with hips and a small waist. The stud embellishments are excellent and very well made. I’m purchased the 32L and I am 5’71/2. I received several compliments while wearing them. Just the right amount of flare and stretch to make these jeans fun to wear.
I wore these in Nashville! They are a great fit. True to size and look amazing. The studded design is beautiful! They do run slightly long. I am 5’5”
