Length not clear

I love the jeans and they fit good but length is way too long. I have to bring them to a taylor ti get shorten. The size chart was not very clear. By the time you pay shipping & handling, return fee then another shipping & handling you’re better off taken them to get to your length. Disappointing on that part.
