Amazing boots!

These boots are everything they said and more. Most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn.

I LOVE the color and style of these boots but if you have muscular calf’s don’t get them without trying them first. They we’re extremely tight and I didn’t wanna risk stretching them, not fitting and not being able to return them. Sad I had to let them go :/

When I got these they looked beautiful. And the smell of the new leather was intoxicating. I really liked the taller 13" shaft, style, and light tan color; but the leather was not a solid smooth leather, but more like a softer suede-like brushed leather. I was surprised b/c it did not look that way in the online pics.
Since I really liked the style, and they fit fine, true to size, actually with room for my toes, which is a miracle; I opted to use leather conditioner and mink oil to seal the surface of the leather, and it did harden up the surface of the leather to a smooth leather finish, instead of suede-like brushed leather.
It worked great, but did darken the leather a bit which I did not mind, since they are now a lovely rich, darker tan almost light brown.
I wear 8.5 to 9, and the size 8.5's had enough room (these run a tiny bit large), which is great, b/c then I could use a full length insert for added comfort and support, b/c these don't' have a lot of cushion in the insole, or much support. Those tiny alterations actually made them the perfect boots, and I am very happy with my purchase. The style looks great with shorts, jeans or skirts, dressy or casual, and the non slip 'free to roam' sole keeps you from slipping, so you don't have to worry about falling down on a slippery surface. I also really like the cowboy slanted heel for style, it's the same height as the block heels for comfort, but looks a bit dressier. I only wish that Idyllwind would make the taller 14" square toe "Relic" and other taller style boots with the non slip rubber sole as well! More tall boots with rubber soles please! These really look and fit great.

First of all customer service regarding this order was terrible. The site says orders ship out 24 hours after purchase. It took me two weeks to get my boots. And numerous attempts at reaching out only to get robotic email responses.
