Handsome, comfy after break-in

I bought these to wear to a private performance in Austin where the aesthetic I was going for was something like elegant western - a polished vest, skirt, straw Open Road hat - and desperately needed some light colored booties to tie that hat to the rest of the outfit. I took a chance on these, figuring that even if they weren't my perfect outfit match, I'd wear them throughout the year because they're adorable.

I ordered a size down from my normal shoe size. They arrived a day before the house show. I wore them around the house to break them in but by the end of the day, they still weren't show-ready. So I popped my boot stretchers in, cranked them up and prayed. The next day, they were perfect for being on my feet for five hours!

I felt comfortable and confident, received many compliments on the whole outfit (entirely brought together with these booties). They're sturdy, pretty, and I will buy more Idyllwind booties!
